Lexington, Va. -- University of Lynchburg women's tennis fell 9-0 at the hands of reigning conference-champion Washington and Lee on Wednesday afternoon.
Elizabeth Teefey and Grace Teefey lost 1-8 at the top-doubles flight. Ashley Hair and Alexa Hardesty dropped their No. 2 matchup, and Lara Karrass and Reese McAtee lost at the third.
The Generals completed the sweep in singles play. Hardesty lost 1-6, 2-6 at the fourth flight in her first match of the season. Elizabeth Teefey fell 1-6, 1-6 at the first flight, but will head to Mary Washington on Friday, Sept. 23 to represent Lynchburg at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships.
