Dudley scored her second goal of the game at the end of the third period on a double assist from juniors Emma Strouse and Alexis Brown on a penalty corner to extend the Hornets' lead to 6-0.
The Marlins (4-9, 1-2) responded with an early fourth-quarter goal from Haille Hatter to cut the Hornet lead to 6-1, however it was not enough to mount a comeback as late in the quarter. Lerro found the back of the cage again for an unassisted goal, her fourth of the game, to close out the scoring.
