Women’s tennis enjoys trip across town

Lynchburg, Va. -- Lynchburg College's women's tennis team won six of 12 flights, making the most of a trip to the north side of town at Randolph College's WildCat Invite.

Christina Harris (Falls Church, Va.) led the way for the Hornets, dropping just two games on her way to a Flight 1 win. Harris and doubles partner Halle Lavieri (Killingworth, Conn.) won an epic 8-6 battle with Randolph's Keyu Jin and Aubrey Hawn to take the top doubles flight as well.

In other singles flights, Lilli Altenburg (Lexington, Va.) won at No. 4 singles, Caroline Guill (Louisa, Va.) won Flight 6, Emily Hoang (Sterling, Va.) took Flight 7, and Madison Collins (Amherst, Va.) won Flight 8, dropping just one game in the tournament.
