2011-2012 (Indoor): Finished first in the pole vault at the ODAC Championship with a height of 15’3.5”…Had his season best in the 60m at the VT Final Qualifier with a time of 7.73 seconds…Ran his best 1,000m at CNU with a time of 2:52.89…His season best in the 60m hurdles came at the VT Final Qualifier with a time of 8.77 seconds…Had his season best high jump at CNU with a height of 1.87m…Threw his season best shot put at with a distance of 37’3.75”…Had his best long jump at CNU with a height of 5.60m…Accumulated 4557 points in the Heptathlon at the CNU Heptathlon/Pentathlon, winning the competition.

2010-11 – (Indoor) Cleared 15'9" in the pole vault at Liberty Invitational… Placed third in the ODAC in the 55m hurdles with a run in 7.98…finished first in the ODAC in the high jump with a mark of 6' 8.25"at the Liberty Kickoff…Finished first in the ODAC in pole vault at the Liberty Open with a height of 15' 9"…Third in the ODAC in the long jump with a mark of 20' 8.5"…Registered a throw of 31' 9.5" in the shot put at the Liberty Kickoff…(Outdoor)…Finished 21st in the ODAC in the 100 meters in 11.76…Ran the 400m in 52.65 at the DIII National Championships…Ended second in the ODAC in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.14…Seventh in the ODAC in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.80…Second in the ODAC in the high jump with a mark of 6' 6.25"…First in the ODAC in the pole vault with 15' 9" at the Richmond’s Fred Hardy Invite…Fourth in the ODAC in the long jump at the  ODAC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 20' 9.75"…Third in the conference in the javelin with a throw of 171' 10"…First in the conference in the decathlon with 6508 points.

2009-2010: Indoor- A stand out for the LC track team ... one of the top performers in all the events he partakes in as a sophomore ... his most outstanding performances came on the biggest stage of the ODAC Tournament ... in the ODAC Indoor Championships he finished fourth in the 55 meter hurdles coming in with a time of 8.20 which earned the team 4 crucial points ... he also won first place in both the pole vault with a jump of 4.70 meters and high jump with a length of 2.00 meters which totaled 20 points all together for the Hornets ... all these events  that he takes place in he ranks first on the time in.

2008-09: Outdoor - Had an extremely impressive freshman year for the Hornets ... a top performer in the ODAC as well as National Championship meets ... proved to be a vital point scorer for the team ... had a great meet at the Liberty Invitational finishing third in long jump measuring 6.10m as well as first in the high jump in which he jumped 1.97m ... also at the Lynchburg College Track Classic he finished first in the pole vault jumping 4.70m ... but his most impressive performance came in one of the biggest meets of the year the ODAC Championships coming in first place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.43 sec and also finishing third in the javelin event with a throw of 45.77m ... also competed in the National Championship meet in the pole vault event. Indoor - One of the best freshman in the conference this season . . . excelled in many different events for the Hornets . . . competed in the NCAA National Indoor Championships in the pole vault . . . could become an all-around top point scorer for LC over his career . . . was third during the season in the 60 and 55 meter hurdles with times of  8.87 and 8.09, respectively . . .  come into the ODAC meet with the second-best high jump height, clearing 1.93 meters at the WVU Holiday Open . . . cleared 4.60 meters in the pole vault at the Hokie Invitational, best in the ODAC during the indoor season . . . at the ODAC meet, finished second in the 55 hurdles, second in the pole vault and third in the high jump, totaling 21 points for the Hornets.

Before LC: Earned 15 letters in footall, basketball, and indoor and outdoor track...recording career bests of 6'4" in the high jump, 14'6" in pole vault, 15.08 in 100 meter hurdles, and 40.10 in the 300 meter hurdles...All-District  and All-Region honoree in outdoor track for four years and an All-State performer for three years...also named to the All-District team in football and basketball.

Personal: Son of James and Jeanne Bell...brother, James, played football at Averett ... brother, Thomas, is a senior on the Bridgewater College track and field team.
