The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced on Monday that women's lacrosse sophomore attackman Alicia Sandoval and men's lacrosse sophomore attackman Logan Adams were named Players of the Week after each team went 2-0 last week.
Sandoval, a Montclair, Va. native, registered 11 total points consisting of four goals and seven assists in both victories. The education major scored two goals and dished five assists in a 17-4 victory over Virginia Wesleyan on Apr. 4. On Apr. 8th the attackman added two goals and two assists while the Hornets defeated Shenandoah 8-7.
Adams, a communications major, contributed 11 points from five goals and six assists in two Lynchburg wins. The Grosse Pointe, Mich. native scored a career high four goals in a 24-10 victory over Shenandoah on Apr. 5 while adding an assist. On Apr. 8 the attackman had a career high five assists in a 19-7 win over Randolph-Macon while adding a goal.
Women's lacrosse will play Roanoke College this Friday for Senior Day, the game is slated to start at 7 p.m.
Men's lacrosse will host Randolph College on Shellenberger field this Wednesday at 7 p.m.
